I've managed to get the second hand and fourth foot done. Both took at least 3 attempts each as I couldn't get the scale right, but finally i got them about right. I still need to fix the wrist on the right hand, it came out a bit thick when I sculpted the hand as I later worked out the base wrist was thicker on that side. I've shaved it down but not gotten around to re-sculpting it.
Next up is plucking up the courage to start the face, eeek!!!!

My Citadel Realm of Battle board needed some extra tiles for a bit of variety, so I started work on some River Tiles to add to the set. They are built so they can be configured in a number of different way to allow for variation between games. The river is so far marked out with string and I've added a small hill to one of the tiles. More work to be done but so many projects to work on. This project was started over a year ago in preparation for a Storm of Magic game but was then sidelined through lack of use. But now its back and i've got another game for it this weekend. So here is my Zoat. The resent additions are the feet and left hand (minus thumb). More work is planned tonight.
This is my BSB for my Monstrous Horde army for Warriors of Chaos. To keep to having only monsters and monstrous creature in the army I initially stayed away from banners and other non beastly things, but in an effort to make the army more competitive I've decided to add a BSB on Daemonic mount. It will still function as monstrous cavalry so will fit in with the army so long as I make it look monstrous. I had trouble working out what kind of banner a monstrous army would have but then it occurred to me, what would encourage an army of beasts to keep fighting, FOOD. So here is the start my Half-Troll BSB on Daemonic mount with 'Snack Banner.' Next up on this project will be finding a suitable mount and sorting his legs out so he can ride it.
My Warlord class titan has been through may iterations in the 5 Years since it was started. The latest version is a Plague Lord titan for my Apostles of Contagion army. My latest addition is a Nurgle Scythe for his close combat weapon and strengthening the joints. The Vulcan-Mega bolter on the back of the fist has also had its barrels changed from flimsy straws to nice solid brass tube. Click the picture for a look at more WIP shots.
The next job will be adding pustules and strengthening the legs as they are quite wobbly at the moment. |
ChrisI've been into wargaming since I was 8 and this is an attempt to document my hobby progress. It may well just prove my 'ooh shiny' sydrome. We'll just have to wait and see. Archives
